The Kudremukh Trek, nestled in the heart of the Western Ghats in Karnataka, is a paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Famous for its rolling green hills, dense shola forests, and breathtaking views, Kudremukh attracts thousands of trekkers each year. To conserve this ecologically sensitive zone, the Forest Department requires all trekkers to book permits online through the official Aranyavihara portal.

Step-by-Step Guide to Book Kudremukh Tickets on Aranyavihara Website

Step 1: Visit the Official Aranyavihara Website

First, go to www.aranyavihara.com. This is the only official website for booking forest entry tickets in Karnataka, including permits for Kudremukh National Park.

Step 2: Create an Account or Log In

Next, click on the “Login/Register” button in the top-right corner.

If you already have an account, log in using your credentials.

If you’re a new user, simply create an account by entering your name, email ID, phone number, and password.

Step 3: Select Your Destination

Once logged in, navigate to “Trekking Permits” or “Eco-tourism Destinations”.
Choose Kudremukh National Park from the list of available destinations.

Step 4: Check Availability and Choose Date

Select your preferred date of trek. The portal displays the number of permits available each day. Permits are limited, so it’s best to book well in advance—especially during weekends and holidays.

Step 5: Fill Trekker Details

Enter all participant information including:

  • Full name
  • ID proof details (Aadhar/Driving License/Passport)
  • Age and contact number

Step 6: Upload Required Documents

Upload scanned copies of valid ID proof for each trekker. This is mandatory.

Step 7: Make the Payment

Proceed to make the payment online using debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking.
You will receive an email confirmation with your e-ticket and entry pass once payment is successful.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Only 50 trekkers are allowed per day to preserve the ecosystem.
  • Trekking is allowed only with a certified local guide.
  • Start early as the trek covers approximately 18 km (round trip).
  • Carry a physical/digital copy of the ticket and ID proof on the trek day.
